Metaflam:
Pain reliever for inflammation as a result of acute or chronic musculoskeletal disorders, musculoskeletal disorders. It is theselective inhibitor, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
First dosage - 0.5mg per kg of body weight, which is followed with maintenance dose of 0.1mg per kg of body weight daily until aclinical result is achieved. (usually within three to four days). If no improvement in treatment within 10days, treatment is topped.
Offered as a chewable tablet, can be administered directly into the dog's mouth or kept in its food.
Adverse effects: Treating with any NSAID's will have the unwanted side effects like - Loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, fecal blood, lethargy and renal failure are being reported. Frequent common side effects like - hemorrhagic diarrhea, hematemesis, gastrointestinal ulceration and elevated liver enzymes.
The side effects will be shown within the 1st week of treatment & temporary when the same side effects are being shown, please contact your vet.
